HP Gold becomes more precious

After having introduced the new, high level Reseller accreditation of "Gold Partner" in late Autumn 2008 HP have announced plans to reduce the number of Gold Partners and make it a more exclusive club.
The new rules will mean that Resellers now need to do a relatively high level of HP business to be a Gold Partner or they will need to attain one of the specializations that HP have designed to mark out Resellers as experts in a particular area of IT.
The net result of these changes is that there will be significantly fewer HP Gold Partners making it a far more exclusive industry "Badge of Honour" to attain. We at Freestyle IT are extremely proud of our position as an HP Gold Partner and have some exciting plans for how we develop our HP skills going into the second half of 2009.
